Yes! Your company should have a public mission statement. It tells the world (clients, employees, media, etc) what your company values and stands for.

While company mission and vision statement can boost reputation. I find majority of company and corporate websites without this information.

David: Interesting to compare the different views on a having a mission statement. My mission is to spread better ideas regarding new media, business philosophy and the good life (including tea). I am fighting for a Second Renaissance.
