I think its a great idea. Actually, I helped move an office of 20 people over to Google Apps premier and they think it's the best thing they ever did. Their sales and marketing departments now collaborate using Google Docs from just about anywhere. This also saved them a lot of money since they don't need Office any longer. It's not for everyone, however, but I feel it's coming closer to the point where it is a true viable solution.
