Enabling sales does not mean collecting data; enabling sales means providing data in the easiest method possible. Profit derives from user enablement, not data entry.

The CRM system is not the issue. The issue is the main user of the CRM system is not wired for "data collection," and yet in most cases management passes down a list of items that must be updated on a regular basis, etc.
