Show me a person who has never failed and I will show you someone who has not accomplished much in his life. Failure is how we try different things and learn from it to succeed in the next iteration.

All the names you have given are excellent examples of people who became wildly successful, but only after they had early failures. And these are not unique. Most of the successful entrepreneurs have experienced failures at some point in their lives.
