More than anything else, writing is about making yourself understood. Beyond that though, there are abundant resources online to help you learn and self-publishing platforms ranging from blogs to Squidoo on which you can practice and gain feedback. A long list of online writers have little or no formal training, at least as professional writers, from Darren Rowse to Brian Clark. Joining their ranks is a matter of practice and determination.
