Very good stuff!

It's been just over 90 days since a guest-post that bothered me - because it freely used the R word - was submitted here, followed by the host chastising those who took offense. I was prepared to again vote for his submissions, but having seen this, I may not. Time for some soul-searching.

Duncan,

It's been about 20 odd years since I was in high school and was hanging out one night after a football game at the local McDonalds, the popular spot in town. Laughing, fun and everybody there.

This drunk guy started walking through the restaurant, arms flailing and stumbling. We all, myself included, started laughing hysterically at him.

Then his brother, probably in his 30s starting yelling uncontrollably at us. The guy, his brother, wasn't drunk at all. He had cerebral palsy and was just trying to get something to eat.

I cried myself to sleep that night and for many nights after. I never will forget it.
