Valentine,

As somebody who is finishing college soon, it can be depressing. Growing up in the 90s everything seemed promising, it seemed that the success bubbles would never pop. Now it seems so daunting. The economy is down, unemployment is up and it seems that at any moment things could crash! I just wonder how many big breaks are still available in these conditions. I'm willing to put in a bunch of effort but still, everybody needs that opened door and it seems that so many are closed.

Rochelle,

I'm way past my college days, but I can certainly feel the anxiety around me... I can only imagine how unsettling it must be to be entering the working world given the current climate.

But, from my own experiences I can say that just about *everyone* has "big breaks" or moments when things suddenly open up in their lives... but realize these moments will be specific to you and your story.

And it may even be that a change can come your way- even a small one- and you may not even realize that *it* is the big break- only in hindsight will you see it..

Bottom line: work honestly, do your best, and see what life throws your way.

Good luck!

Valentin,

I'm still waiting for it but I'll let you know the moment it arrives. If, in fact, it does.
