Shawn,

Thanks for commenting. I don't really know who Seth Godin is, but since this is about the millionth time I've heard his name, I will look into it. You are right, interesting is "of interest." It's a critical component of any marketing strategy,

Regards,

Yoni

Yoni,

The book on being remarkable is "Purple Cow" but a personal favorite of mine, and one that is very inspiring for anyone trying to start anything, a business, a movement, a religion, you name it, is "Tribes". A very quick read too.

Yep! All really important parts of blogging...and of business for that matter. I'm a big Seth Godin fan and feel Seth pretty much hits it on the head when he talks about being remarkable. What does that mean exactly? Well, being interesting. If you can't come up with an interesting post or product or service, why should I waste my time?

Shawn,

Thanks for the "411." I just ordered the book from Amazon. I will let you know what I think of it!

David,

thanks for the comment. I think a writing course would behoove (now there's a silly word) anyone who is "writing for business." they are usually inexpensive and they get the machinations of the mind cranking away!

Susan,

Thanks as always for your wonderful and helpful feedback!

One of the things I recommended to some people at my first annual blogging convention was a simple workshop in creative writing. two of the participants took a workshop and their writing improved markedly. I must add though: I believe that anyone can write. It's just about channeling creativity and finding the storyteller which is in all of us!

Wishing you a GREAT day,

Yoni

No question, a writing workshop can be helpful...especially to learn how to do storytelling and relate it back to customer needs and solutions you can offer them.

I like your idea of channeling creativity and finding the storyteller within us.

Hi Yoni,

To be honest I think blogging can be a little more difficult for those of us who are not writers or do not have the natural talent that you guys do.

One point I would add is that blogging like all marketing tactics needs to have a purpose and you need to know what appeals to your readers.

It is great you are finding blogging of benefit for your business.

Susan
