How much does the first hour of every day matter? As it turns out, a lot. It can be the hour you see everything clearly, get one real thing done, and focus on the human side of work rather than your task list.

I need to print this out and frame it. I am guilty of checking email BEFORE I get out of bed. Sometimes it starts my day off on the right foot, but often times it does not.

I don't know but the first thing I check is my facebook account followed by my email. Lol, I'll have to change habits.

I have to admit that I check my phone for notifications the first thing when I wake up! ;) I then bring a cup of tea and go to the computer and check out BizSugar! :)

Wow - what a great post. I spend the first 30-40 mins of most days walking my dogs through the fields. I spend some of that time just thinking how lucky I am to be doing it and grateful for all the good things that have come my way, and of course enjoying the peace plus laughing at the antics of the dogs. And the rest of my walk I spend planning my day. I also always try and do the horrible tasks first to get them over with or they are hanging over me all the time. I write a list each evening and leave it on my laptop so I remember every idea I had the night before. Sounds like I'm doing ok compared to your post :) Thanks for sharing on Bizsugar.com

Do not check your emails in first hour of work day? Then I need to change that. :)
