Over the past few months it seems that many entrepreneurs have lost faith in the 2016 candidates for president. Still many small business owners are holding out hope that our next president will address the issues most important to them including cutting taxes and investing in infrastructure.

Jon: Have you read the book, Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal?

Jon: I will search on YouTube. For the record: I am not a member of the Libertarian Party.

Same. Just a bit of a political junkie.

Jon: What did you think about the other candidates? Is it possible to see a replay of the debate?

Personally, I have an issue with a third party, becoming the leader of the United of States. I a way, I think it is both too early and too late. The main problem is that the traditional parties have lost the foundation of the Founding Fathers, and the so-called alternatives are often very opportunistic and airy-fairy...

I thought that a businessman like Steve Forbes could be a sound alternative, but then he caved in to the Religious Right.

Have you heard if Mark Cuban really is interested in running for President?

Best Premises,

Martin

You may be able to find it on YouTube. Overall I'd say all three candidates show different sides of Libertarianism and range from idealistic to pragmatic. It'd be interesting to hear all of them speak more specifically on business.

Jon: We have to wait and see. Did you see John Stossel's debate program?

I did. I enjoyed both hours but they felt so rushed. I wish they could have more time to discuss each question and have more back and forth.

Jon: You are are right about that. It is time that it will come a real pro-business candidate. Have you studied Gary Johnson on the small business issues?

I haven't looked at his small business policies very closely aside from minimum wage, to be honest, but I've definitely looked at some of his other ideas. If he gets the Libertarian nomination I think it'd be very interesting to see him in the debates with Democratic and Republican nominees.

Interesting to see that small business owners are longing for a new President like the former President, Ronald Reagan.

Yeah and interesting that Reagan was so far ahead in that poll as well.
