Hi Chris.

How long till the crooks have the technology to scan your phone by line-of-site from a few feet away (or right next to you in a check-out line), and empty your bank account (if not already)?

Yeah... I think people will be concerned about that. They discussed how you need a pin to enable the system on your phone, and the chip isn't even on without that. So in theory, it shouldn't happen. Not sure though how long it stays on after you enter the pin, if it turns off after a payment, or if you have to manually turn it off (seems unlikely) though.
