Money Mindset: the missing piece of your business growth puzzle
"Great questions Heather. Generally, if a business is selling a number of their products/services and getting great feedback from their clients about the results they are achieving - however they just can't seem to take their business to the next level, despite having the right systems in place etc - then often this is an indication that there could be a belief (mindset) that is not supporting them. Often times, when someone is taking their business to the next level, they will come up against some barriers (ie money/self value paradigms) that will need to be addressed - no matter what level someone is at in their business. Whether someone is making their first six figures; multi six figures; or even shifting through to seven figures. Each stage of business growth will require shifts in mindset. This is quite normal; the only difference between someone who breaks through to the next level, is someone who continues moving forward and doesn't let their mindset keep them stuck. Does that help?"How to overcome indecision
"You are very welcome. Often it stems from fear - fear of making the wrong choice; of failure; of [whatever the reason]. People can get stuck in analysis paralysis - waiting till they have all the facts, which often is never the case. Once you find out what the underlying fear is and address that - it makes it easier for the person to come to a decision."5 Reasons Why Your Social Media Efforts Aren’t Working?
"Hi Duncan, I'm not sure of their reasoning. From memory there weren't many comments there so I would say that they have switched this function off quite early on. With the spamming issue, there are some great plugins you can use to stop spam. It doesn't take me that long to sift through and see which comments are genuine. I think many bloggers only wish they would get to a point where it is taking them a while to thank or reply to the comments on their posts. Because this would mean that they have a popular blog. I guess it depends on their strategy and how they are using their blogs in their overall marketing and relationship building endeavors. Thanks for your comments Duncan - appreciate it!"« previous1 next »

Focus: Is Yours Helping or Hindering You? [Audio Biz Tip]
"Great question; I generally set myself a 90-day goal, which involves marketing of a program (or product), and then to get the best results, focus my attention on what I need to do for those 90-days. Anything that doesn't fit into that plan, I either put in a journal for future review, or I recognise is a distraction. With regards to a specific produce/service and whether it is one that you should keep promoting - I generally look at the amount of time I am investing in promoting it vs the amount of sales it generates AND whether it leads to other programs. ie is it part of my profit funnel/pyramid. If the result shows me that I am investing WAY too much time with not a lot of returns and despite tweaking my approach, I'm still getting the same results, then I would consider whether this would be a product/program I would continue to offer. Those are definitely a number of things I would take into consideration. Hope that helps."
