"I appreciate it, Adrian. Yes, I learned the language when my mother-in-law and father-in-law came over from Italy to help my husband in his business. They were very slow to learn English so I had to do something. :-) Thanks for stopping by to check out my article - I appreciate it. Take Care, - Carol :)"Subscribe
Talking Smack Online – Not Professional!
"Hello, Martin, It’s so nice to see you commented on my blog, and it’s hard for me to remember you’re Lyceum on BizSugar. :-) Welcome to my blog, and thanks for coming by to read my article and then share your feedback, I appreciate it. I definitely respect your viewpoint, Martin. Ah, see - it’s all a matter of different definitions. “Spice up” to me does not equal cursing. A person can be entertaining, informative and funny without having to shock people with expletives, but many folks want the shock factor. Many reasons for this, but may be due to lack of confidence in their own ability as a thought leader in their industry, or they just may not care about offending listeners and take the “if you don’t like it, leave” attitude, which is a shame in my opinion. I grew up in a home where cursing was a regular every day thing with my parents, as well as extended family and friends, but I think there is definitely a better way to communicate in families and while doing business online. Have a good evening. ˜Carol Amato "
