"One of the things I like doing is to phone or at least send a personalized email to interesting people I meet on Twitter - and hook up with one person a day. This started as a New Year's Resolution and I kept it up well for quite a while, but I slip regularly. The easy part is that I schedule this at the end of my day, as I'm wrapping up and too tired to work any more. With the time difference this is usually early morning US time.
