On the otherhand, if it's not spammed, it's pretty unobtrusive, and I don't think it would be too much of a social blunder to add people without asking first. "I'm totally new to the field but the first thing I learned about social media marketing was that it was so great BECAUSE it was more about building direct, tangible relationships with consumers rather than pushing content and being self-serving. Which is to say I'm baffled by spam. Promoting yourself is acceptable as long as you are putting forth effort to engage and contribute, but pure spam... I don't even understand how that could be a good idea. I wouldn't and don't click on spammy links and unfollow(or whatever the term is for whatever site it is) people who post lots of spammy things."« previous1 next »

People don't review enough(I do it too) because it just gets so tiring after the 3rd or 4th time having to completely re-do a bit because it's just not good enough, when really putting in all that time and effort will only be paid in full once you have reviewed and re-done to perfection."
