Creating a successful Conference Call
"Excellent advice. I do most of my work via conference call and what I find is difficult is when there are multiple people on the call expected to provide feedback. It doesn't always lead to the best use of time. I find that an emailed agenda with stated goals really helps. "Shawn I agree! I think people often want quick success rather than putting in the time. Especially for the small business - under 10 employees- it is important to practice good growth. I hear, too many times, that a business has a PR person get them "tons" of exposure and they failed at meeting the demand. That is a sad thing to happen to someones dream."Sometimes you have to build the bridge yourself in small business.
"Thanks Shawn - you are right there is a lot of backward or out dated thinking in a small town. I just know that working with seems to work better then against. I don't give in easily, but I don't need enemies - which can really derail a project.
