Hey Martin! There are always risks in ANY strat — it's all about how they are deployed that matters. Sincerity is vital. (Not merely lip service.) If a brand truly appreciates its customers, they will sure know it. What if the email you mentioned was a genuinely personal email from the CEO of a company?
