"Martin - I think that's because Hungarian & Finnish are from a separate language family. i.e. They're not from the Indo-European family of root words like so many languages. They're their own group: Finno-Ugrian. (This is some trivia I picked up researching Migration Period & Viking swords over the last 15 years.)
