I've been reading recently about the sites that have been black-listed. But it just shows that following the time-proven formula of writing good content with good links linking to your site is as valid now as it was when SEO became a subject in itself. As an award-winning copywriter myself, I have to agree with all your tips. I will always compare copy to a pint of Guinness (being Irish of course!). A good pint of Guinness is allowed to settle before it's topped up and handed to the customer. Same thing with web or offline copy. If it's allowed to sit for a little bit while the writer goes away from it, comes back with clear eyes, then it's much better copy. The writer can hit the send or publish button knowing that it's a good piece of copy. Thanks for sharing here on bizsugar.com Take care, Denise "
Hi Francisco, I just had a conversation this week with a colleague about SEO and the importance of it. It's almost come back into vogue. Not that it ever went out of fashion but marketers are talking about it more than they used to in a few years. I really liked the infographic - I'll repost on my pinterest page. Hi Pawel, a comprehensive list. I certainly don't like bragging, it reminds me of my mums friends years ago and how wonderful their children all were!! I like your clear approach and advice to people. A good list that any small business owner or executive can follow. Take care, Denise "
You've suggested three interesting ways. I've always been a big believer in customer advocacy. Of course, innovation is important as well. Someone once said to me you're either going forward or going back in a business. Innovating is a way to keep going forward. The best of luck with the competition. Take care, Denise"
Every business has a bad hair week! But you know what I took from this article is looking for the reason for why your week was bad. I know a lot of businesses who would acknowledge it, complain about it, worry about it but not really realise that it wasn't personal to their business, it was just a seasonality. So you advice is great for small business owners - if they experience a bad day, fair enough. If they experience a bad week, then it's time to find out why..and see what, if anything, they can do about it. Thanks for sharing here at bizsugar.com. Take care, Denise "
Well Allison, this is indeed interesting. I need to add social media profile buttons to my site. This is an interesting little plugin. Do you know if it works with landing pages or is it just your top performing blog posts? Or indeed on every blog post? Thanks for drawing our attention to it. Take care, Denise"
Oh Dave, I completely share your frustration. I'm a marketing expert that believes passionately in customer service and I do get upset when I hear of these type of stories. I did my thesis on Relationship Marketing in the Airline Industry for my Masters of Business in International Marketing a good few years back and somethings never change. It's so frustrating for you. So will the original flight go before your new flight? Isn't it amazing how much a little logical thinking goes a long way? Let us know how you get on. Have another (complimentary!) coffee.
