Under Promise, Over Deliver – Key to Business Success
"WOW... You are spot on! I loved the article, and have been spreading the gospel of that approach for some time. For me, I'm in the service business (janitorial and carpet cleaning). For example, for a carpet cleaning service request we exceed expectations by being on-time, not "crowding the doorway" when knocking on the door, having name tags visible, asking for permission to enter a home, placing booties on our feet so we don't dirty their carpet etc... Then we always try to clean something for free, such as a small area rug or doorway mat. These are all little "moments of truth" where you go beyond what other companies do, thus building up a series of "positives" that the customer notices. It's different for each type of business, but you are right, you must exceed expectations."Facebook Page Marketing - Will You Continue to Invest?
"I "grudgingly" pay to promote certain posts. Though I can't knock them for wanting to make a buck, I view it as I ALREADY paid my dues to their bottom line by learning the ropes advertising on their site to get the fans in the first place. To have to "pay again" to speak to those who signed up annoys the living daylights out of me. To Edwards point, I agree that most don't give a crap about my content. I'm sure I have some die hard fans, and I am grateful to them, but most are casual at best. I see FB a "little backwards" to most. I use my fan base to "help validate" my company. When people land on that page and see over a 1300 fans it helps me overcome a barrier some may have to doing business with someone they never heard of. Anyway... enjoyed the post!"Subscribe
