How to create a brand? | Marketing
"'Your brand makes friends with select group of people' -- certainly is. That's why it's not easy to monopolize the entire niche. Another good reason why we shall keep watch of our branding -- this is a timely post as I will be putting this into practice with a client's fan page. "Aaron, a very important guide to all freelancers who work online these days. I think most of us have forgotten that: We have a choice too. We are so used to accepting all job loads, without thinking through the type of customers we are dealing with. Often times, there's a risk for if the 'monster' client is unsatisfied, there goes our reputations, whether that's the genuine truth or not. I agree, never accept it brief, brief. I tend to ask for more details, as in goals, directions so we'll know we're on the same page. "This is a new concept to me. :) I have heard about somebody mentioning this before but I have remained skeptic about that. It's mind provoking that when we stand at the viewpoint as a business maker, this is exactly what keeps people coming back and wanting more. I may not apply this strategy just yet for my existing social media blog, however, it gives me something to think about for my coming projects. Resourceful and F.O.C -- that's the attraction, right there. Thanks for this eye-opening post, Sarah. @wchingya Social/Blogging Tracker"Timely FREE Advice 4 BizOwners: DO IT! | Management
"Tony, very encouraging thoughts! I find this to be applicable to my situation and time to make things happen instead of just waiting for it. Unsure whether it's intentional, but seeing all the points as #1 (instead of sequential) really made me focus on all the steps, trying to figure out the sequence that works for me. I certainly hear the message loud and clear -- put actions into realization, then we'll review the results and go from there. @wchingya Social/Blogging Tracker"Wedding Crashers: Guide to Social Media Marketing | Marketing
"What a crazy, hilarious movie it was. :) I'm glad you brought out some fantastic rules to be applied in our daily marketing routines. Be observant is the first thing to do, even before all the research and planning. 'Play like a champion' is probably the best quote I like to highlight -- we are who we think we are. We won't have to exaggerate ourselves to stand out, but work out a comfortable way to blend in without losing our best qualities, could be the winning factor. :) Appreciate this mind providing post. @wchingya Social/Blogging Tracker "From An Absolute Blogging Beginner and I Absolutely Love it | Growth
"It's always refreshing to give this topic a good thought -- why we started blogging in the first place? Surprising how our personality and communication skill can develop through time. I love the sense of community in blogging: how one can inspire another with a feedback, the help and love we can offer to support and encourage; not to mention a brand new career plan that none would have thought of years before now. Blogging opens doors. May we continue to inspire & be inspired by one another. @wchingya Social/Blogging Tracker"Subscribe
