"Shawn, Duncan, Anita, Heidi, Martin & Ofira, Thanks for all of the great comments and feedback! Sorry this has to be a "group" "Thanks!" I am running out the door. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I won't be blogging for a couple of weeks...today was the last...but I will be looking forward to reading all of the great psotings here on BizSugar! "Ivan, As a literary writer, author and blogger, I write about 10,000 words per day, mostly for books I am in the process of authoring. I'm always surprised who many things I write about in a non business context which become fodder for my Business blog. Creating ideas and topics through "just writing" can be the catalyst for some great Biz posts! Yoni"Social Customer Service: 5 Steps On How To Improve?

"Swssem, Great article! I do have one small point of respectful disagreement. I think that writing, blogging from one's own perspective is a plus, at least from my own experience. I believe that when readers want to take that very important next step and do business with the writer, they want to get to know the writer better. Their ways of thinking, their mindset, basically what makes them tick. Their values, their aspirations and their mentality. I believe that one's personal perspectives interjected into a business blog is the way to lay it all on the table and say "here I am...here is what I can potentially offer to you!" In spite of this tiny difference in perspectives, I think this was, like your other posts I have read, a wonderful and insightful piece. I wish you much success and many more years of blogging! "Mir, From someone who has no Facebook account and hasn't checked his Linkedin profile in well over a year, or been active, your points are very valid. The idea of the checkin seems like a logical addition. The privacy concerns are another coming from someone whose identity was stolen. Very well thought out piece and I love your use of imagery in your post! Yoni"Subscribe
