How to Keep the Passion Alive on your Blog
"Good advice Rich, I'm having a small lapse in passion and concentration for the first time in a long time of blogging. I got a bit of bad news. I think instead of forcing things I'll take your advice and take the week off. I feel, in a serious way, that you have given me permission. Thanks, Yoni"Why I’ll Be Blogging Less Often (and Why You Should, Too)
"Tristan, I've always been an advocate of blogging when an idea strikes rather than adhering firmly to a schedule. Having to post can be exhausting and too much pressure; waiting for ideas to strike and then writing makes for a much more relaxing time...and I believe, makes for a higher quality blog. "Great advice from a business standpoint Geoff. From the perspective of a customer looking for a business though, there remains a grey cloud: that being that business testimonials are always from satisfied customers; nobody posts those from the disgruntled. "Great list Adam! Even got Kutztown U. on there; now there's a name I haven't heard in a while. I enjoyed many a weekend there; parties, not studies. I also see blogs as a great place to learn; I have no Business background so I can learn from others...including you... Yoni "Short Term Gain, Long Term Pain
"Hi Susan, Your examples are great. My personal example deals with a new client who thought our business relationship would be a mixture of business and friendship, though I had just met him. He insisted our initial meeting be dinner with his wife and family. It set the stage for him thinking that favors were a normal part of business. Could you just draft me a letter...write me a short speech..etc. For free of course...as we were "friends." Bad situation all around. Long-term pain. "Ronika, Your wonderful article is a true classic! I absolutely loved it. Spade is a tough honcho and one,as you state, who we should try to channel in our business lives. I would hate to have to deal with a client who is like him though, that would be rough. As for the lack of his gun, it is a point of admiration. All of the best oldies used their minds rather than bullets. I absoluttely adored your article! Yoni"Subscribe
