The Moonlighter’s Survival Guide: 10 Tips to Successfully Manage Multiple Jobs
"Adam, Nothing "Frugal" about that post! Sobering statistics too! Gone are the days when dad got a 9-5 job at "the company" where he would remain for life. Now it's the age of dog-eat-dog and then some overtime too! I was lucky during the days that I was breaking into the freelancer world to have a 9-5 wife who was willing to put up with a rather difficult half year. Two incomes sure helps and alleviates in many cases the need for multiple jobs. Yoni"The Simple Things Make a Big Difference With Customers
"Susan, My Avira anti-virus program expired yesterday. I've been very pleased with it so was quick to go to their site to renew. At $17.95 I couldn't go wrong. Entered my credit card info, got ready to check out...and...there's a $7.95 charge for "The Auerbach Foundation," a donation. Well, being that they had no info on the foundation, I didn't want to donate. I attempted to remove the charge from my basket. You can't it says...it's a "mandatory" donation. They missed out on a simple thing...getting a valuable client to renew. I will not! Yoni"Social Media and Online Marketing Strategy – Running Before You Can Walk

As you stated, websites, now Social Media and who-knows-what tomorrow? The fundamentals are what's important, as you said, the solid Marketing and presence. I had a website for the first few months of business. I didn't blog. I didn't do much rather than sit back and wait for my phone to ring. It didn't! Yoni"Creating the drama and telling the story
"Barney, Great post! Story-telling is a necesary part of blogging, especially I feel, with business blogging. Business, by its very nature, can be inherently boring. Any article I believe, needs at least some minimal amount of story-line added to the mix. Whether it is a few sentences of history, the writer's personal experience/life, or even some current event, movie plot or from a book, the reader needs some plot to keep them interested. Great post! "Duncan, It's amazing how many childrens' nursery-rhymes have dark, macabre and painful lessons and endings. Glad I could construct one with a happy ending! Yoni"
