The term “trusted advisor” used to mean that the salesperson had the business acumen to help their clients achieve better outcomes. It has now come to mean something less; namely, the false idea that trusted advisors don’t sell.

A patient pamphlet for a popular antibiotic lists the following possible side effects: seizures, arrhythmias, increase in intracranial pressure, hallucinations, cardiovascular collapse and death from anaphylactic shock. Nowhere does it mention it can save your life. "Fear Factor" is a Great TV Show, but in blogging and Marketing, positivity wins the day!
