One of the things that stops me is my own desire to stay small. At some point I could have hired a crew and expanded, maybe even been a mega-conglomerate by now (not serious). But...and this is a BIG but, there is something special about remaining small and I believe it also appeals to customers. It's one of the reasons that a lot of people go to that small, crappy-looking diner that there is in every small town with waitresses named Dottie and Flo and great meatloaf and mashed potatos. Instead of MdDonalds!
