The year 2009 has been a tough one for small business lending. According to the following article from CNN Money, the U.S. Small Business Administration reported a 39 percent decrease in small business loans during 2009 with the result that the federal agency was able to put together loans for 25,000 fewer entrepreneurs over same period.
