Joel: Thanks for your reply. Is the retirement fund the same as your pension fund (IRA)?

Joel: Could you see a historical pattern that people are starting franchises during hard times on the labor market? How do you come up with the money for starting a franchise?

Hi Martin, When jobs are scarce, franchising picks up. )(When money is available.) Used to be that folks used the equity in their homes. Can't do that right now. One way people are getting loans is by using their retirement fund--only a portion. JL
