Anyone can able their own business. However, manage their own business with success is more important.

Joel - Excellent advice. Not everyone is fit to be his own boss. Just because you don't like working for someone doesn't automatically qualify you to own a business. It needs lot of hard work, perseverance, patience and courage.

One advice I would add is to run your business idea by someone whose opinion you trust and who is a business expert. It is very easy to get enamored by own idea and lose sight of it viability. By talking to someone you will get external validation.
