Building and selling your first website design should be simple. Your customers are hiring you for your design skills not your coding skills, so it is essential that the building process does not get in the way of the desired result.

If you start looking at the different website builders it is easy to become confused. It is better to make a list of essential features and another list of desirable features before you even start looking at the different programs.

Erik: Great! I look forward to hear your thoughts on Squarespace! Last year they did a hilarious Super Bowl commercial.

Erik: You could check out Squarespace and test it for free, for 14 days. I have used this tool for three site: EGO NetCast, EGO SoleTrader and GOT-Tea-Party.

Hey,

Very well said that 'customers are hiring for your design skills and not for your coding skills'.

The last thing that your clients are looking for a great design and not the time and hardwork you did on coding and there comes that role of above ultimate website designing tools.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Hi Nikhil,

glad you enjoyed this article.

You don't have a second chance to make a good first impression, right?

So design, definitely counts!

Technology has evolved a lot and thus we don't need to have coding knowledge to design a professional website. Things are getting much easier now!

One of my friends used Wix to build her online store with Wix, it is really good. I aware of Weebly, popular platform to build stunning websites.

But for the first time, I'm hearing about IM XPRS and SiteCube. Good to read its features, will give a try for my upcoming projects.

It's a great share on Templates and yes, WordPress is pretty good!

That's right.

10 years ago, if you told me that I would be able to create a website using a CMS such as wordpress, I would not have believed!
