Great article. I agree that delegating is needed but as most people it's difficult for me to do because I always feel like "I can do it better". However, I'm going to really start doing that and looking into becoming a better delegater to take some of the workload off of me.

What would you say is the number one thing that those who are looking to start delegating do?

Yes - that's also my problem :)

With that being said, I think that in order to start delegating, you need to have the right mindset, first and for all. Then you need to prepare detailed guidelines to follow - to avoid going back and forth with clarifications and other things.
