Internships are more popular than ever, with the National Association of Colleges and Employers reporting an estimated 8.5 percent increase in intern hiring for the coming year.
Admittedly, internships are an appealing concept to both employers and students. However, if your for-profit organization has, or is considering, an unpaid internship program, you must comply with each of the DOL’s factors listed below.
