Ivan: I visited Hong Kong a business trip in 1992. I visited tea and 3.5" floppy disks suppliers. How safe is Hong Kong to do business in / via, now when it is under mainland China? It was said to be two systems (with Hong Kong as laissez-free market place), one country, but I am not sure that this is the case nowadays?

Do you know how many North American companies have a registered offshore company in Hong Kong?
