What is the definition of a "jerk" in a business situation? I would say that a "jerk" will cost you more in the long run, so you can't afford it. Personally, I wouldn't tolerate a jerk at my company.

NO and NO! Jerks are not worth keeping in my honest opinion. Don't turn yourself and dip your team into a toxic relationship with somebody that is great but not so great working with. THERE ARE OTHER great people out there! You just have too look at little bit farther!
