Hi Susan, that's a fair point of course but I have to agree with Mairead in that it sends out the wrong message in my opinion.

I believe exclusionary policies build loyalty. Although non-competition is a bit stupid since it's easy to copy a product but almost impossible to copy a business.

One thing I have found why these networking groups that have the non competition criteria is because they have a focus on referral of other members. I was told is they have more than one type of business then the whole referral thing gets too difficult.
