It's definitely true that great leaders not only inspire their teams/employees to develop great solutions to complicated problems, but also allow them the freedom to implement their solutions. These leaders lead by freedom and by providing guidance and inspiration. But leadership is definitely not management. Yet managers, for some reason, are often confused--they think they are automatic leaders because they're bosses. But management principles run totally opposite to leadership principles. What do you think?
