I agree with this. You can imagine a circle zoomed in a first. You can say that it's circle formation is a line because you see it in a zoomed in perspective. But when you see it in a zoomed out perspective( simulating a bigger time span for work ), you can see that's it is not really linearly proportional. It means, you don't get same work results. Equating it with a linear graph for the payroll means in exceeding on the time will not be as efficient and in some time equivalent, you will have a negative profit.

Excellent advice on keeping sanity in this ultra-busy world. It does seem counter intuitive, but working more and doing multi-tasking leads to numerous errors and problems that hurt the quality of the outcome. It may seem like you are accomplishing more by working longer hours, but when it's the quality of the outcome that matters more than the quantity.
