I wonder if Pippa Middleton uses the same designer clothes etc? Some things you can't even anticipate as per your example and all you can do is try and react quickly in the right way.

Her name itself will be a marketing bonanza. It's not Lisa or Madge or Kim. It's PIPPA. Not too many Pippas around. Soon there will be Pippa perfume, Pippa fashion, a Pippa lingerie collection, Pippa designer this and Pippa designer that. It will take over the world.

I like external the best. It can be financial, the weather, and even a fashion statement that changes everything. Kate Middleton was upposed to be the belle of the ball at the royal wedding. Then her sister showed her up. Kate's fashions were supposed to be the newest trend but now everybody wants to look like her sister and everything needs to be redesigned. Very nice article as always.
