No worries!

It's useful for a bunch of other stuff - rank tracking, online mentions, backlink analysis and a few other things but it's quite pricey.

I know some people that get it for one month, do their KW research, competitor research, link analysis etc for the rest of the year, then cancel it.

Ultimately, depends on exactly what you need. For basic KW research, AnswerThePublic.com and Google's Keyword Planner might do all you need at the moment.

Overall, it's Ahrefs. But for quick keyword research AnswerThePublic and KWFinder are both great.
