Thanks Jackie, Vanessa and Devon.

Devon your story is a good one and a reminder that competitors will use different lures to entice our customers.

Susan we have a very unique view on things as our auto parts store Ami parts is right across the street from our competitor Jackies. We have been in business for over thirty five years. We have loyal customers who come to us no matter what and those who will stray if the price across the street is right. Many times we will see them sneaking in to Jackies so they won't be spotted. We understand that pricing is a lure so dont consider it cheating. ~Devon

It seems you have a very unique and intimate way of keeping your clients, and it really needs a striking charisma...i guess you have boxes of it.

As Heidi's husband/she is a florist/we have both seen signs when regular customers stop ordering flowers. I'd say this is always a regular pre-cursor to the breakup. Maybe in business too? Shep

Hi Shep and Heidi,

Thanks so much for your comments and that is a good one about the flowers. Regular referrals stopping is probably the closest I can think of.

Susan,

It sounds like the script for a charming romantic comedy movie, probably starring Julia Roberts. Lovely post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Id' say it's over at the "secretive" phase - when they're a little vague & non-committal.

Good point Duncan, but some do not see it and just hope the sign is not true unfortunately.

Hi Rivkah,

Thank you. Funny I have been trying to write a post about soap operas. Glad you enjoyed it and I must say I did have fun writing it.

Susan,

You have truly, truly, TRULY penned a CLASSIC! This is absolutely PRICELESS!

Having an affair, flirting, Lipstick on the collar????

You have indeed turned customers straying into an affair of the heart!

You have me, Rivkah and our exchange student for the year in residence, Rochelle (profit613) applauding audibly!

"Author, Author!"

Hi Yoni,

I thought I would take your advice and have a bit of fun with it. So thank you. I did a Google search to see what the current signs are and obviously couldn't use some of the them unfortunately.

I used these terms at a workshop recently and it was seemed to go over well. Glad you, Rivkah and Rochelle enjoyed it.

Susan
