6 Marketing Mistakes To Avoid in 2018

Another year has passed and us business owners are getting ready to tackle the 2018 with focus, strategy, and enthusiasm. Hopefully at least. I've been fortunate enough to work with many great businesses last year and met many others and am always picking up new ideas and inspiration from just about everyone I meet.

While I see a lot of successes from businesses owners, I still see the same marketing mistakes being made over and over again. Most small businesses are never able to really figure out marketing and to get to a place where their marketing & advertising strategy is firing on all cylinders.

Gary: Thanks for the information. Tea is not mainstream yet, but it is the second most consumed beverage in the world! ;) North America and the Nordic countries are still strongholds for coffee drinkers, but it will change over time...

I have a special domain on this issue that I have to talk about with you. The name starts with tea and ends with coffee. I will write a blog post on it, over at Tea Book Sketches in the near future.

Hey Martin, yes, would love to connect again in the new year. I have a coffee shop near me (plus Starbucks and Panera Bread) but no tea shops, unfortunately. I think the Teavana shut down shows tea isn't as mainstream as it needs to be in order to go national, but love to see more local tea shops as I loved the one we had by us when we lived in Toronto.
