Both SEO and an email list are very important but, i think i will prioritize email list over SEO because its very much better than SEO that can disappoint you later. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.

In his guest post, Devesh mentions building an email list BEFORE optimizing for search engines. I'm assuming this is in order of importance though I'm also guessing a lot of this is being done at pretty much the same time. All the same, would you agree with the idea of prioritizing an email list even over SEO? What does the rest of the community think?

Good question - the way I see it these are all tasks that should be done before you launch your blog so they would be done at a similar time.
I'm sure everyone could disagree as to how they're prioritized because everyone has a different perspective.
I look at it as how I'd build a blog before launching and under those circumstances I'd actually use the order Dev has used in the post.
