Earlier this week, AT&T and Placecast officially announced an agreement to provide AT&T customers special offers via their mobile phones when near a participating location. ShopAlerts™ is currently only available in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago and San Francisco. AT&T customers can opt-in to receive the messages by going to the AT&T ShopAlerts™ registration page.
