Growing up in the Washington DC suburbs, there wasn’t a choice as to which football team I would follow. Eight times a year, my mom would load my brother and I up with Redskin jackets, jerseys, gloves and hats and off we would go with my Dad to the one and only RFK Stadium. Yes, I could sing the Team’s fight song at age 3 and there were no boundaries to my passion for the Washington Redskins

Love it! the demise of a proud sports team definitely fits the mold of a brand gone bad. First thing they might want to do is chang their name...maybe to something more PC. Redskins? Yup, they're Native Americans. Would be like a team (stand by for Jewish reference...I'm Jewish) The New York Money-Grubbers or the New York Hooknoses. Imagine a name referencing racial traits of African-Americans or Hispanics.

With a proper name they can be proud of it would be time to rebuild them into the dynasty they once were. BTW: I loved that Riggins!

Sometimes it seems the more the world changes, the more irrelevant old dinosaurs like me become - I feel your pain, Ryan.
