Adam: The goal is July 4. It will be a work in progress, and pretty light with content at the beginning. ;)

Have you used the theme, Wired, by GeneratePress?

All the Best,

Martin

Excellent. That's always the way! Let me know when it's live so I can check it out :)

GeneratePress is a great theme. I've used a few of their different templates but not Wired specifically.

Adam: Great to hear! This webinar gave me fuel for my soul and material for my "last" site. I am getting there... My content style with be short pundit posts, with reference to podcasts and live-streams.

All the Best,

Martin

Excellent! Is there any news on when your “last” site will be live?

Adam: I was pulling your leg a bit! ;) I see new media marketing as an ongoing thing, after you have picked your strategy. You could have a campaign for a specific time period. In the headline it was saying strategy and then the word, campaign, was introduced. ;)

It is the same "pet peeve" I have with the word "project," if you mean an ongoing thing. I have talked about this matter regarding the podcasting 2.0 initiative. I studied an education called, international project coordinator, back in the day. :)

You could watch the recording later on! Rand Fishkin is talking about a thing called the Marketing Flywheel.

All the Best,

Martin

Oh yes, I should have realised haha ;)

I’ve stopped adding anything new to my “watch later” list - way too much on it already! I’ve already looked at the marketing flywheel stuff :)

Adam: What is the difference to look at social media as a "strategy" versus as a "campaign"? ;)

Did you watch the webinar with Rand Fishkin?

All the Best,

Martin

The strategy is the “top-level” ongoing approach to social.

Campaigns tend to be run for a limited amount of time, and sometimes have more specific goals/audience than the top-level strategy.

A lot of the same thinking goes into both of them though.

Nope! Don’t have time to watch webinars unfortunately.
