Btw: I am slowly preparing for my launch of my newsletter. I have received some strange looking email addresses, located in the eastern part of Europe. I am using TinyLetter. Could it be security risk with strange email subscribers?

It's natural that you may get some bots subscribing to your email list.
I imagine that TinyLetter will scrub the addresses after a while. Usually the emails get banned for spamming then they will bounce and TinyLetter should remove them after several bounces. That's how MailChimp and others work, not 100% on TinyLetter.
In any case I can't see how being subscribed to a list could be a security issue.
