If you want the art on your solopreneur Web site or blog to be unique, and if you insist on using stock photography, you need to stay away from images that are used a lot. Case in point is this photo. If you're using it, replace it now.

This happens all the time…

I think a lot of it has to do with ignorance more than anything else. Some people may mistakenly think these photos give off a “polished, professional look” to their websites in a way that real photos wouldn’t.

While this couldn’t be further from the truth, usually only those who are constantly online would know that. It just goes to show how important it is to get professional advice when designing a website- especially one that is being used for business.
