Ron: Do you think that the regular funnel described in the infographic is still valid? Have you read Flip the Funnel: How to Use Existing Customers to Gain New Ones Hardcover by Joseph Jaffe?

I haven't seen that book, but I do believe both of these funnels are absolutely still valid. Still, I'll try to find that book and learn more about what you're referring to.

Great Infographic indeed, the benefits of content marketing to a company can not be over emphasized and, its one of the things that will never be out of fashion. If you know how to do it well then, it can really boost your traffic and income. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.

Completely agree. Companies need to be doing content marketing as part of an overall marketing and public relations effort. It's hard to do it well, but this infographic gives a great overview of the benefits when you do.

Glad you found it useful. I thought it was a particularly good infographic in terms of the amount of information, the presentation and the content itself. As such, it was itself, a great piece of content marketing, but in the tradition of good content marketing, it did much more than promote the company that created it. It provided useful information that people want to share.
