The bigger question is the overall tax situation. Should the market be free or regulated? According to my view, this bill will kill online business. It is time that we have a debate on how we could conduct business in profitable way. The brick and mortar establishments have an advantage to the online stores, they have a physical location with plenty of possibilities of doing extra sales and create a nice shopping experiences with outstanding customer service.

@Lyceum: Well stated! I had a brick and mortar boutique. I decided to change my business to a mobile and online store, because of the advantages OVER brick and mortar establishments. My profits increased 200% and I was able to reach out and offer personalized service to my VIP clients.

As far as the tax situation, I believe that online business still have the advantage, because we do not have the overhead and we have more control over our pricing without cutting into our profits. Brick and mortars can only cut corners to a point, due to their fixed expenses (ie, rent, insurance, triple net, etc).

I agree, we need to have a debate on how we can conduct business in a more profitable way.... Any ideas where and when?!
