Marketing is storytelling. Stories help shape beliefs and also help people remember the things you want them to remember. Authentic and compelling stories help build a brand. Here are some phenomenal examples of great storytelling.

Ross,

I agree with your statement.

Check out the storytelling of the Italian - American restaurant, Joe Farelli's in Gothenburg, Sweden: http://www.joefarelli.com/the-story

Ross. What's your take on storytelling that is fabricated and made up as fantasy, say a restaurant is coming with a compelling background and story?

The most compelling stories are authentic and true. Ultimately, fabricated stories tend to crack and break down, often at the cost of reversing whatever goodwill the business has earned through that story. As with anything, it's probably possibly to weave a crafty tale, but this would be really tough to do for most businesses. Do you know of any restaurants that are very popular as a result of an invented background/story?

Story telling is really one of the type of contents that your readers will always love and, if you really know how to do it well, it will attract many people to your blog. Many people like stories just like myself so, learn how to tell compelling stories. Thanks for sharing this with the bizsugar community.
